This New Bern, North Carolina, law firm began as a solo practice in 1996. I have dedicated myself to providing ethical and effective representation to individuals with family law problems. My practice offers assistance to individuals who find themselves facing any of the following issues: divorce, separation, spousal maintenance, custody and visitation, child support, equitable distribution, adoption, termination of parental rights, name changes, and all other family-related matters.
Typically, I approach my cases assertively, but I am cautious not to be unnecessarily aggressive. I stand ready to litigate, but also explore alternative means of dispute resolution such as arbitration or mediation. I am willing and able to skillfully present my clients' cases in either forum. Nevertheless, my primary objective is always to resolve my clients' legal difficulties while minimizing their personal, emotional and financial exposure. It is important to me that my clients leave my care as whole as possible from a financial, emotional, and psychological perspective.
